When I started this website, I added a self-hosted little microblog to
the page as a way to still have a "feed" to post to without having to
rely on a mainstream, centralized social media platform. It was a fun
experiment, but soon after I started it, I joined the Fediverse and
eventually started self-hosting my own social account. At that point,
the "journal" section of this site kind of became redundant and
abandoned.

For a long time, I've been wanting to replace it with something else and
well, I finally got around to it! I'm now mirroring some of my latest
fediverse posts onto the new "Posts" page, repurposed from the previous
"Journal" page. And for those who are going to miss my backlog of twtxt
bangers, the old journal page is still up and linked to from the new
one!

I've added a new article to my Residents
Shrine all about exploring a funny "iceberg chart" meme I made years
ago. It took a long time to write up, so I recommend you check it out if
you're into that sort of thing.

Here's an article I've been wanting to write up and post to this site
since I've started it: Uncovering Kid Pilot's 20 Year Old Easter
Egg

This is probably one of my favorite things I've written up for my site
so far, so I hope you take a look! And look forward to more new things
coming soon!

Happy HTML Day! I've been pretty
busy lately, but I've decided to add a small page to my site at the very
least to celebrate the occasion. Check out the new Lucid
Dreaming page I made. :)

The shrines section of my site has been pretty much dead since I started
working on the Pretty Rhythm shrine over a year ago. Well, I haven't
really made any progress on the Pretty Rhythm shrine, but instead I've
opened up a new shrine: RESIDENTS WORLD!

This shrine is dedicated to my favorite band of all time, The Residents.
And unlike the Pretty Rhythm shrine, it's actually already open and in
an explorable state. That being said, I have plenty of more updates
planned for Residents World, so check back often!

I did a huge update to my site... but for the most part it's mainly
invisible. Almost no pages should be visibly modified on my main
website. What has changed is that I now have hooked the text-based
Gemini and Gopher versions of this site into the main deployment
process. This means that they'll be more up to date with this site and
they'll be easier to update from my end. This also means I can update
the main site easier without having to worry about parity between the
various versions!

Feel free to explore the text versions at https://text.mew151.net
